Spring 2009 - IDIA 799 Final Project: CluelessPC Website Testing

The goal of the IDIA 799 Final project will be to focus on research/testing related to the website and its audience (CluelessPC/NovicePC, i.e. the milieu of novice computer users, and their path of learning).

7/2009 to 7/2010 - [Proposed] Public LMS Implementation

The HASTAC/MacArthur: Innovation in Participatory Learning grant proposal aims to develop the CMS/LMS into a publicly usable tool with communities for educators (content developers) and learners (content consumers). The focus of this resource would be to host independent, multi-lingual curriculums designed for novices. The innovations it proposes are: a focus on shallow learning, a radical approach to localization, and a series of features that help educators set up, market, and publish educational content for a broad range of devices and modes of use.
